Upgrade? Downgrade?

Our train arrived at East Glacier Park at 1:00 am (3:00 am EDT). Fortunately the town survives on tourists, so all of the hotels and car rental places wait for their customers to arrive before they go to bed for the evening.

The stock at Avis was pretty thin by the time I got there and they didn't have any cars in the class that my fellow travelers and I reserved so we all got upgrades. The guy in front of me got a Jeep Commander, so I was pretty excited to find out what I was going to get. It turned out to be a bag of rocks, or more precisely, a Mercury Grand Marquis!!!!!
