When I was considering going down to Yellowstone, the last thing I thought about seeing were bison. As I payed my entrance fee I was handed an flyer advising not to approach the bison in the park as several guests have been gored. This isn't any African Lion Safari. There are wild bison in Yellowstone as big as a VW Beetle and bold enough to walk up along side you. I though maybe I might catch a rare glimpse of one or two, but there is an entire herd within the park. I'm sure I spotted well over one hundred today.
